Dorian Reece

Dorian is an aspiring poet from the Bronx, who picked up writing out of sheer curiosity after working at an arts council and being exposed to artists of different mediums. Though not majoring in writing at school (it was a mix of economics, math, and computer science), he has taken many strides by reading and then writing pieces that try to add color to a world of working in finance and figuring out what it means to be an adult or even just a human. In his words the writing is just trying to get closer to the core of it, whether that’s the aforementioned items or whatever the “it” happens to be at a specific point in time. His favorite writers include Mary Oliver, Cole Swensen, Ada Limon, and Frank Bidart.
