A Grub & Gab Padded Springboard

We were rounding our rectangular table with our convexing conversations / teachers & students / softening the angles of that springboard shaped table / while affirming that it remained a jumping off point / we were gabbing and guzzling the evening away / letting the goodbye that bound our little get-together fade into the background / to be brought up again later / as a at-the-door huddle.
