Beautiful silhouette
I have the kind of eyes
That look good in headlights
The bright, oppressive light brings
Gold to the lifeless brown
My hair only has life
When it's dry
Or when I wear red lipstick
Then the old flecks of dye return
My lips only full
When I've bitten them
In my stressful moments
When my eyes fill with tears
My arms strong from
All the books I carry
But they end up shaking
When my mind overtakes my body.
But then there's my smile.
Imperfect.
But genuine when I'm drowning in laughter.
That's the only time I feel beautiful.
