Heart Cries

Deafening as a bomb 

Shaking the ground

Cracks left all over

But no one hears the heart’s cries

Trees fall with violent force

Earth ripped open

Memories swallowed whole

But no one sees when the heart cries

You look around

Tears soaking your face

Wanting someone near

But no one cares if the heart cries
