Light in Dark
Sometimes when I'm in the dark I cannot see
how I will make it back into the light. Then a little piece of it comes along, like a carefully mailed letter. It comes in the laughter at my parents' dinner table. It comes in a neighbor saying hello. It comes in a friend texting to check in on me. It comes in me working on my passions and bringing them to life. It reminds me to be grateful. To be patient. Because sure enough, that little carefully mailed package will come, and I will find my way back to the light once again.
