Claire Coenen

I am a writer and social worker based in Nashville, TN, where I teach expressive writing, SoulCollage®, and yoga. My work has appeared in several publications including The Banyan Review, Poetry Breakfast, and Salvation South. My debut collection of poems, The Beautiful Keeps Breathing, is forthcoming with Kelsay Books. I’m grateful to many poets who have been lighthouses for me, especially Maya Angelou, John O’Donohue, Mary Oliver, Rainer Maria Rilke, Rosmerry Whatola Trommer, and James Crews.
