Diane enjoys drives in the mountains to look at the scenery and wildlife. She is an amateur photographer of landscapes and wildlife. Nature has a calming effect on Diane and many of her poem ideas stem from nature. She is always thinking of images to strengthen her poems which she hopes makes her poems accessible to her readers. She is an avid reader bouncing between fiction (thrillers, murder mysteries, Stephen King) and nonfiction (World War II, autobiographies). Whatever catches her interest.
