Robert W. Monk

Hi there, I’m a poet, artist and writer currently based in the southeast of England. I love to perform, and the buzz of an open mic is something I always enjoy.  

I like to explore the spaces in between in my work. I am fascinated with the idea of identity and human interaction with nature.

Influences on my work from the world of poetry, music, and film include Aldous Huxley, Mary Shelley, Emily Dickinson, David Lynch and Edgar Allen Poe.

My work has appeared in the anthology Brainstorms (An Expression of Depression), the zines Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, Misanthropia, LiteLitOne, Ink Sweat & Tears, Entropy Mag at Enclave, Meniscus, Visio Mag, and Xorske!
